On May 8, 2023, “The Henry Project” received a heartfelt plea for help from a unit within the Ukrainian Armed Forces, desperately seeking a drone. What ensued was a challenging yet rewarding journey that lasted nearly two months. Today, we are thrilled to announce that thanks to the compassionate generosity of fellow humanitarian Stephen Ravndal and his family from the United States, along with the dedicated fundraising efforts of Jimmy Phillips from London, Ontario, the unit has not only received the much-needed drone but also essential medical aid. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering commitment of The Henry Project’s Country Director, Nazar Dumych, who played a pivotal role in securing the best price for the drone and providing invaluable translation services. When individuals come together for a common goal, there are no limits to what we can achieve.
