Food for the Future

This past week, The Henry Project had the pleasure of collaborating with The Pasta Café, a fully operational cafe located in Lviv. However, The Pasta Cafe is much more than just a cafe – it is also a charity call “Food for the Future” an organization that specializes in preparing dinners for internally displaced people (IDPs), providing dry meal plans for the military, and sending food packages to civilians located in the eastern regions of Ukraine that are deemed at high risk or have been previously occupied.

Every day, volunteers at The Pasta Cafe work tirelessly to prepare free lunches for territorial defense, military units in Lviv, and IDPs. They meticulously pack and organize food delivery, selecting locations for catering in order to ensure that the meals reach those who are most in need. The organization is dedicated to doing everything they can to ensure that none of their fellow Ukrainians go hungry.

In addition to their efforts to provide meals, The Pasta Cafe also raises money for the development and purchase of drones for the Ukrainian military. These drones will enable the military to gather valuable intelligence and reconnaissance data, and ultimately help them keep the Ukrainian people safe.

It’s truly inspiring to see the level of commitment that the volunteers at The Pasta Cafe have towards helping others. Their efforts serve as a reminder of the importance of showing compassion and offering assistance to those in need. We feel privileged to have worked alongside such an incredible organization and look forward to supporting their continued success.
