The Henry Project’s Unicorn Surprise
The ongoing Ukraine war has had a devastating impact on children, affecting every aspect of their daily lives. From physical displacement to emotional and psychological trauma, these young individuals face immense challenges and hardships. In recognition of the importance of bringing moments of joy amidst the chaos and uncertainty they experience, The Henry Project embarked on a special mission to a nursery school in a small village near Lviv.
In a heartwarming effort to bring some much-needed joy to the children, The Henry Project developed a creative idea. Dressed up as a magical unicorn, our team surprised the nursery school children during a visit to their campus. The delightful surprise left the children captivated and filled with excitement.
During our visit, we engaged the children in singing joyful songs together, creating an atmosphere of happiness and unity. Their smiles were infectious, and for a brief moment, the weight of the conflict seemed to dissipate. Additionally, we express our gratitude to Country Director Nazar Dumych, who generously provided cupcakes as a special treat for the children.
In the midst of the dire circumstances faced by children living in conflict zones, it becomes even more crucial to find ways to bring moments of joy into their lives.
